Don’t get me wrong though, all the rest of Doomed’s discography is splendid, it’s just that “The Ancient Path” shines forth rays of unparalleled sorrow and ruin like no other. Favorite track: SHE'S CALLING ME.

Aleph Probably one of the best debut album in the area.The best is still to come, for doom lovers and many more.

Atmospheric Doom / Death Metal from Australia. Proper Doom has the power to bring out your emotions & your sadness and forces you to process it so that you come out the other side feeling temporarily better. This is proper Doom Metal, at least for me, it does all those things... :) Love every song! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

Listening to this on shrooms was haunting, which made it into a serious trip! Which was a mistake I was not prepared for. I do have something to say about it though on why I think it such. I have personally experienced several tipi ceremonies. One would stay up through the night, consuming peyote, doing in some sense a molting process and does so by connecting you to the spirit world. This album does this, but different - I say it transcends that experience, and does it well... On shrooms. zaphexa

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
